What we keep

If you sign in, we store your email, sign-in records, and places you save. Google sign-in also provides an account identifier. We use this information to manage your account, protect it, and keep your Favorites private.

Cookies and service providers

We use essential sign-in cookies and Google Analytics to understand public-site usage. Account pages and Favorites do not load analytics. Hosting and email providers process account data to run the service. Analytics and map providers may receive usage data, network information, and the map areas you view.

We use encrypted connections and restrict access to account data.

Your choices

We keep your account data while your account exists. You can remove Favorites or delete your account in account settings. Deletion removes your account and saved places from the live service; copies may remain in backups and provider records.

Our use of Google account data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
